Risoul, total pleasureRisoul

Between Gap and Briançon, the ski resort of Risoul is set on the North-facing mountainside of the Chabrières peaks, at 2745m. As a ski resort in the Southern Alps, Risoul benefits from an excellent snow record due to its altitude. At the heart of one of the largest larch forests (over 900 000 trees), Risoul, combined with Vars, is the fourth largest skiable area in France, “La Forêt Blanche”. There are 180km of pistes in Risoul and Vars can be accessed via the Razi summit. Go and hire your skis and go down the speedskiing run of Risoul: with over 95% slopes and breathtaking views. In Risoul, there are also renowned and high quality snowparks, the “black park” zone for advanced snowboarders, the “white park” for beginners and a half-pipe. You can also ski down the boardercross run and Nordic skiers can take the two 40km-long cross-country trails.
